Hugh Hefner, founder of the Playboy Empire, has died at his mansion in Los Angeles, California. Close sources assured TMZ.com that the tycoon died in peace surrounded by his family. Hefner was not in good health, it was a year or so since he was in decline, and he had not been seen in public for quite some time. He dies a little over a year after his brother Keith died fighting cancer.

On the other hand, the magazine Playboy, catapulted Hefner into a cultural phenomenon, making way for the iconic Playboy Mansion that very quickly became known for its magnificent and legendary parties.

The magnate sold his mansion last year, to the millionaire " Daren Metropoulos " for the total sum of US $ 100 million dollars. But the sale had a clause: Hefner could live in the mansion without the intervention of the new owner until his death.

Hugh Hefner married three times: first with his great love of school Mildred Williams in 1949, then with former Playmate of the Year Kimberly Conrad in 1989, and finally marrying his last wife Crystal Hefner in 2012. She is 60 years younger than he (31 years old).
He has four children, Christie and David from their first marriage, and Marston and Cooper, from their second marriage.
