Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has returned from a week long high level visit to India on Wednesday evening.
 
According to PM Oli, his visit to India has been fruitful as expected as his visit has been able to clear all the mistrusts and misunderstandings  arisen between two good neighboring countries since last few months.

Oli expressed his belief that Indian counterparts have also realized that Nepal has accomplished a historic achievements promulgating the new constitution 2070 and they further hope that it will be implemented as per the consensus of all people from all sectors of the country.

During PM Oli's India visit,  Nepal has signed Nine different agreements with India in presence of Indian PM Narendra Modi and Nepalese PM KP Oli.The PMs from two countries have jointly inaugurated the transmission line providing 80 MW electricity to Nepal and aims to provide 600
MW by December 2017 etc.

An MOU on utilization of USD 250 million grant package for earthquake reconstruction has also been signed.

Other agreements include Rail transport between Nepal and Vishakhapatnam and rail transit through Singhbad from Nepal's trade with Bangladesh, road infrastructure in Terai region of Nepal, transit between Nepal and Bangladesh through Kakarbhitta-Banglabandh corridor and operation of Vishakhapatnam port.

During his visit, Pm Oli has visited different high ranking personalities including Indian president, vice president,  prime minister, foreign minister etc.

He has visited Haidarabad where those 9 points agreement was signed. He also visited Tehri Hydro power project and had meeting with Indian  Energy State Minister Piyus Goyal.

On the fourth day of his visit, Oli addressed Indian council for world affairs meeting.

On fifth day he visited Earth Reconstruction site in Gujrat also had meeting with Governor of Maharastra state at Raj Bhawan.

He flew back to Nepal on the 6th day from Mumbai.
